This Privacy Notice sets out how we at the Birley Pastry Limited use, protect and share the personal information that we collect from you when you use our Website at https://birleybakery.com/ (the “Website”), when you apply for a job with us, interact with us or contact us in any other way.
We do not knowingly collect personal information relating to children, except name and age for registration for children’s parties and events we run (with parental consent). Our Website is not intended for children.

We, Birley Pastry Limited are a company registered in England, with company number 13631499 whose registered office is at 5th Floor, 105 Piccadilly, London, England, W1J 7NJ (“Birley Bakery”), the activities of which include online sales of goods via the Website and the operation of a bakery and chocolate shop.

3. Why do we collect personal information about you?
3.1. We collect personal information about you to inform you about, and provide you with, our services, to deal with any enquiries you may have about them and to improve and develop these and the Website for the future.

4.1. We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal information about you such as:

This may include facial images, behaviour, movements, location information, and activities of individuals and vehicles. Our CCTV system is provided by a third-party supplier, HIKVISION. 5.3. Employment: You have applied for employment or taken employment with us.
5.4. Public Information: Publicly available sources such as social media, websites and LinkedIn.
5.5. Automated technologies or interactions: As you interact with our Website, we will automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. 6. How do we use personal information about you?
6.1. We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to:
(a) where we need to perform a contract with you;
(b) where necessary for our legitimate interests where those are not overridden by your interests and rights. “Legitimate Interests” means the interests of our company in conducting and managing our business to enable us to give you the best service/products and the best and most secure experience. It can and does also apply to processing which is in your interests too;

6.3. You will receive newsletters and marketing communications (including email) from us if you have requested this or if you have purchased goods from us and have not opted out of receiving marketing in that method at the time of the transaction. We strive to provide you with choices regarding personal data choices around marketing and advertising. You may opt-out of marketing from Birley Bakery upon request. Other than the sharing of personal data between Birley Bakery and its affiliates, where you have expressly opted-in to marketing activity, we will not share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. 7.1. Your information is securely stored on our servers. Where we provide you with the opportunity to set passwords to access your account information via our Website, we ask that you keep your password secure and do not share it with anyone.
